ARTIST PROFILE

Savannah Rose Spring Holdsambeck

Hi! Thank you for checking out my portfolio. I'm a self-taught artist who has a passion for drawing vehicles as well as flora, still-life, and historical or sci-fi characters occasionally. I started out as a traditional artist, mainly working in graphite drawing, but I've recently picked up digital art as well.

In regards to my goals with my art; I originally wanted to one day work in the automotive industry as a designer. Studying Mechanical Engineering and German in college, I had hoped to be better prepared for the more technical aspects of the industry, and then employ my artistic skills for design-oriented projects. I still wish to incorporate creativity into automotive design, but now on a more personal level with vehicle customization and maintenance in my free time. Professionally, I want to use engineering to preserve nature and culture, which have been muses and inspiration for artists for centuries.

Getting to the Core

Our values and beliefs shape our identities and our experiences, and everyone is different. My faith contributes significantly to who I am in weakness and strength, to my passions and interests, and to reconciliation with my past. I simply would not be who I am today without it.

Leaps of Faith

WHERE I COME FROM

Colorado (2001-2013)

Virginia (2013-2020)

One of the biggest shifts in my life occurred at the start of middle school. From staying with my mom in Colorado Springs, Colorado to suddenly living with my dad in Ashburn, Virginia, I felt like I was aboard a ship in turbulent seas. My faith calmed the waves, but it took me a long time to accept the outstretched arm that would lead me to finding myself again.

WHERE I AM

University of Alabama (2020-2025)

Moving out-of-state for college was a great leap of faith. I was hesitant to make another big change, but I saw an opportunity for self-discovery and new freedom. This trust in the process has led me to coming out of my shell and seeing what the world has to offer. My faith transformed the idea of travel from trauma to "träume" as I made the even bigger leap to live in Germany for 5 months.

WHERE I'M GOING

To be continued...

Since I was young, I've always had an affinity for art. However, I am continuing to see how I have been hardwired for craftsmanship. Like a vessel formed out of clay, I am constantly being shaped into the best version of myself. My passions and gifts are beginning to blossom after being a "late-bloomer" for so long, and relationships I didn't think I would have are being fostered. I can only imagine that the future holds many more treasures and blessings!
